“Estimates for Russian wheat production were raised by Sovecon for this year based on strong yields. They now expect wheat production to be 87.2 MMT, up from 86.1 MMT,” Pater said. “Wheat markets slide across the board as all three wheat classes posted losses again today, extending the downtrend. With Russian, Ukrainian, and Australian production estimates increasing, it’s hard to find reasons to be bullish, especially with corn trending lower this week.”
