Aaron Huebner at CHS Hedging said “The May soybean contract traded down ½ cents to settle at 10.15 ½ and November finished up ½ cents to settle the day at 10.18 ½. Soybean meal was lower while soybean oil traded higher on the day.” Mark Soderberg at ADM Investor Services said “Net drying will occur across much of Argentina, Paraguay and southern Brazil this week with better prospects for rain in week 2. The net drying will aid harvest efforts in Argentina.” The Hightower Report said “NOPA crush released this morning was disappointing for February at only 177.87 million bushels, well below pre-report estimates of 185.2 and below even the lowest guess of 178.0. Processing plants may have had more downtime due to adverse weather in February than previously thought.”
