“Corn futures are trading lower to start the day on mostly favorable crop conditions and progress in the U.S.,” Ryan Kelbrants, with CHS Hedging, said. “The USDA reported corn conditions improved 1% week on week at 77% Good/Excellent. Corn silking is 77% complete, 1% above the 2019-23 average. Corn Doughing is 30% versus the 2019-23 average at 22%.”
