Corn futures were down 1 to 2 cents midday Thursday session. The national average cash corn price was down 1 1/2 cents at $4.88 ½, according to Austin Schroeder with Barchart. Export sales data showed 1.027 MMT in corn sales 2026/27 in the week ending on Sept. 10, which was in the middle of the trade ideas of 0.7 to 2 MMT. That was still down 16.6% from the same week last year, Schroeder said.
