Corn futures saw some late session strength as contracts closed with losses of 1 ½ to 2 ¼ cents across the board on Wednesday. The national average cash corn price was down 1 1/2 cents at $4.89, according to Austin Schroeder with Barchart. Soybeans closed the midweek session pushing higher into the close, as contracts were 1 ¾ to 3 ½ cents higher. The national average cash bean  price was up 1 3/4 cents at $12.62 ¾. Soymeal futures were back 20 cents lower to $2.10 across the board, with soy oil 50 to 69 points lower, Schroeder added.
