Our reward for enduring the long, dark, and bitter cold winter is the “endless summer” skies (and yes, that is a nod to the Beach Boys “Endless Summer” album title.) I remember making a Facebook post in January with a photo of the western sky bathed in orange and seafoam green and captioned it as “proof that daylight does exist after 5 p.m.” Now that we have daylight from basically 5 a.m. to close to 10 p.m. (here in south central Montana), it’s important to remember to practice good sun safety strategies to help protect ourselves and our loved ones from skin cancer.
