Summer heat and humidity have finally arrived. Corn and soybeans are growing rapidly with the combined moisture. We may even see some tassels later in the week. Soybean plants are hardening in and grabbing that dark green color we love to see. Wheat is changing colors by the hour, as we may see some harvesting begin this week. A lot of hay hit the ground last week, some only to be spoiled by an iffy rain shower on Thursday. Win some, lose some. Oh, the risks of farming!
