Wheat harvest is in full swing! Yields and test weights are exceptional this year. Hay is down across the whole countryside. The heat wave and dry spell have us all taking advantage. Early-planted corn is starting to tassel and is growing rapidly with moist feet in this heat. Soybeans are doing the same. The dark green color is starting to shade across the bean fields. It’s always a welcome hue to show the hardening of those once-tender seedlings.
