“USDA reported an increase of 16.7 million bushels in wheat export sales for the 2025-26 marketing year, along with an additional 1.5 million bushels for 2026-27. Weekly shipments totaled 15.9 million bushels, falling short of the roughly 17.5 million bushels per week needed to meet USDA’s 900 million bushel export projection. Total wheat export commitments for 2025-26 stand at 863 million bushels, running 12% ahead of last year’s pace,” Matthew Lucas of Total Farm Marketing said.
