Last week was a fairly good week for the wheat harvest. Yields were very good as well. Saw several planes flying around the last couple days applying fungicide, and ground rigs running as well. Corn and beans all seem to be progressing well. Some of the later-planted corn is finishing tasseling now. Yesterday we had the first two calves out of fall heifers, about 10 days earlier than expected. Third-crop hay looks to be coming along nicely and ready to cut in another week or so.
