Last week was off and on rain — not a good week for hay making, but it was a good growing week for corn and beans. Corn looks like we should be seeing some tassels coming out any day now. Bean rows are getting shaded pretty well now. If we could get a few dry days in a row, the wheat would be ready to go, but it’s not looking good this week. Weather has not been cooperating to make second-crop hay, but hopefully the rain will bring some of the pastures back to life. Hope everyone has a good week.
