The Northern Canola Growers Association (NCGA) recently held its annual meeting in Minot, N.D. At the meeting, Dan Marquardt of Bottineau, N.D.; Zach Jacobson of Langdon, N.D.; and Troy Romfo of Calvin, N.D., were re-elected to the board of directors. Canola growers heard from presenters discussing prevention of weed resistance and controlling diseases in canola, new crop insurance changes for canola coming next year and an update on the canola market outlook. Growers also heard from keynote speakers Dr. Bill Wilson of NDSU and Jerry Gulke.
