Ag colleges illustrate involvement of women in agriculture

The University of Missouri’s College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources has a slight female student majority, as do other Midwestern ag colleges. A variety of factors have contributed to the rise in female student enrollment at ag colleges, and certain majors such as animal science and ag education have large majorities of female students.
