NORBORNE, Mo. — Across sunny Carroll County, the farmers and combines were at work, stirring up dust and gradually shelling field after field. It was a good week for harvest progress, with clear skies and a clear forecast for the next several days, and fields were gradually disappearing as the crops reached the point of being ready for harvest.
