Most of all the corn in the area is pollinated now, and we’ve been getting timely rains, so it’s holding in there pretty well. Disease pressure has started to pick up slightly with the humidity, so fungicide applications are underway or wrapping up in a lot of the area. Soybeans are coming along, but weed pressure has been a bit more of a challenge this year, especially with waterhemp and some late flushes due to rains. A few fields of mine need touch-up spraying. Some of the beans are reaching that R3 stage, so fungicide will be getting applied in the next coming two weeks.
