The last of replant and after-wheat beans should finish this week before heading into another weekend rain. Wheat yields and quality were respectable. Early-planted mid-maturity corn is starting to show a tassel. Soybeans have canopied, but with the struggle so far trying to control weeds it appears that fight will last for the rest of summer. We’ll be turning the page toward pollination and soybean pod development soon.
