Old-fashioned barn raisings and barn dances used to be endeared social occasions. The tradition of bringing the community together in a barn continues at the White Barn with its Fall Festival.

After a windstorm blew out the north wall and shifted the barn from its foundation, it has been restored as a community gathering place and wedding venue.
