What started as an annual tradition — getting cattle ready to show at the fair — turned into something much more for a pair of central Iowa 4-Hers.

Taylor Richards and Brylee Gibson donated 700 pounds of ground beef to Ronald McDonald House Charities after this year’s fair cycle. Brylee (left) stands with younger sister Alexis the day of the donation. Alexis will be showing cattle this year.
