Rainfall total for the week ending Oct. 3 was another 1.7 inches. The ground was saturated when the rain stopped on Oct. 1. Very muddy conditions. The weekend of Oct. 3-4 finally brought the sunshine and good drying conditions. I would expect to see some harvest activity on the well-tiled fields by Monday or Tuesday. Soybeans and corn will be ready at the same time. Looking forward to a dry week!
