The coolness this morning feels good for a change, but we’ll be back in the 90s tomorrow. Combined rains Tuesday totaled 2.5 inches, though some parts of our area got up to 4 inches. They have a quite bit of ponding. If that goes down reasonably quick, there won’t be replanting. If it’s slow to drain, then there will be spots to drown out. Tuesday’s wind caused some neighbors’ corn to tip over, but it was not widespread — just a field or two — but crops are staying green. I finished spraying corn and have 100 acres left to side-dress.
