We got another four-tenths inch of rain since my last report. There are quite a few beans still left to pick but quite a bit of corn is coming off. It looks like they are talking more rain this week. Beans, I’ve heard anywhere from 60 on-farm average to 75 bu./acre on-farm average. It’s not bad for the season we had. Corn-wise, I’ve heard 130 all the way up to 200. I guess we will see how the rest of the season goes. Corn is coming about 19 to 20% for the later-planted corn. I think we are in for an interesting season here with another inch or two of rain predicted. I know some guys trying to start soybeans again.
