Harvest is rolling on here in our part of the county. We have made a really good dent in the soybeans while the corn is drying down. As expected, yields are reflective of planting date. Late March/mid-April beans have been the best. Later-Aprils are less due to the lack of rain to finish them. This hot and dry weather has been good for drying corn, but the fire hazard is pretty high. We hoped to get a good inch or more of rain from the hurricane. No such luck.
