Dear Michael: I have three children, all of them involved in farming to some extent. My oldest farms 1,200 acres and is farming full-time. My second oldest is farming 800 acres and farms full-time with the addition of rented land. My youngest lost most of his rented land, so he is only farming 400 acres and is working elsewhere in addition to farming.
