Researchers in Japan have developed new camera-based technology that tracks and monitors the behavior of dairy cows in barns. Armed with information from the system, farmers are able to keep a close eye on cow health and performance, easily identifying when any animal has a problem. The team from Tokyo University of Science has developed an innovative location-information-based technique that uses multi-camera systems to track individual cows across an entire barn.
