Well, I still have a one-handed rancher-order-buyer husband. To be fair, he still is doing almost all of his work – much to my dismay. I cringe and try unsuccessfully to make him slow down. After getting in to an orthopedic doctor Oct. 19, it was determined that surgery was needed to place a plate in the arm for the break to heal best. He had smashed his arm between a steer and the chute when processing feeder cattle on unlucky Friday, Oct. 13.
