The dog days of summer are here, and the heat and humidity won’t let up. Combine that with the smoke that often blocks the sun, and we have had a hard time getting dry enough conditions to harvest our rye, oats and triticale.

The Feikemas have been selling fat cattle and are currently at their lowest inventory, giving them time to haul manure and clean pens.Â
