ROCK PORT, Mo. — On a September school day at Rock Port, students strode up and down hallways between classes, transforming the space from quiet to lively and then back to quiet in a few minutes. Up and down the corridors of the junior and senior high school, and in the elementary part of the school, the sounds of classroom instruction drifted out. Another school day was rolling on.
Rock Port elementary principal Steve Waigand says good teachers and community support help make the school successful.
