Hot, dry week here in east-central Missouri. Early-planted corn is heading to trend line yields or slightly above while later-planted corn is just tasseling. Timely rains will mean good yields. Soybean fungicide application is in full swing at least on our farm, and I’m sure others are not far out. Rain is badly needed for soybeans, as they are blooming and starting to see signs of stress!
