It was a nice, dry and warm week around the area. Farmers have been taking full advantage of the nice weather. Harvest continues to push on. Several people are finishing up with corn and starting on beans. A lot of guys are switching over to beans as they are getting really dry and needing to get out of the fields. Crop yields have been really good across the board with what I have heard. The local elevators are struggling to keep up with the bushels which has really limited the farmers’ capabilities this fall.
