Corn harvest is full steam ahead! Fields are dusty and highways are busy. Persistent heat continues to drop moisture quickly, even in later-planted corn fields. Several soybean fields were entered toward the end of the week. Yields are said to be good to excellent. Some cover crop is being put in as well. Pastures are struggling in the heat, but next week looks to return to fall-like weather.
