This week our pastor gave a sermon on the parable of the vineyard owner who hires labors five different times of the day. At the end of the day the owner pays the workers hired in the last hour the same as the workers hired in the first hour of the day. Of course, the workers that started the day were upset but then the owner reminded them that he paid the agreed wage.
