Photos Stephanie Fossum of the Canton, South Dakota area and Kari DeMoss of Newell, Iowa each won $5,000 for an organization in their communities as part of the 2026 Hometown Roots Contest from Lallemand Plant Care.
Lallemand photo contest winner Stephanie Fossum is from Canton, S.D. “This is my daughter. She helped me retrieve this calf from the field on a cold, muddy day. The calf needed additional help nursing from its mother. It is important to teach my daughter that our efforts matter when taking care of livestock,” Fossum said.
