Last Monday (July 20), we got over an inch of rain and had cooler temperatures throughout the week, which gave us a nice break before the heat set back in this weekend. The beans are starting to set pods, and the corn pollination looks good on the fields I have checked so far. We planted a summer annual grazing mix where we had chopped oats and peas. The rain last week really helped with emergence, and I’m hopeful for rain at the end of this week to keep it going.
