Finished up clean-up work on machinery. Did some shredding. Cleaned up waterways that were locked in by crops. You’re cleaning up everything. Lot of anhydrous was going on last week in anticipation of the wet weather on the way. We ended up with a total out of two different rain events of a little over 2 inches. I heard 3-plus in some areas not far from here. Nice shower, no wind, that got this ground water back in shape. Don’t know if it was enough to cure the river problems, but it’s a help at least. There’s still corn to get out in a few spots but hopefully will finish up this week as the weather clears. This ground, even with 2 inches of rain, you don’t see a lot of water standing around. It’s drinking it up.
