Last week was certainly a great week for harvesting soybeans in the area. With the warm temperatures the beans were drying rapidly. There were a lot of them under 10% or close to that. Yields I am hearing all over — from the 60s to 90s. We had rain on Sunday to slow things down for the first of the week, but it was very welcome — anywhere from a trace to an inch in our area. Haven't seen or heard of much corn being tried but looks to be drying down. Looking to chop earlage in the next day or so.
