More farmers were able to get into the field late last week, but light rain on Friday was enough to shut things down again. A few bean fields were cut over the weekend, so harvest is slowly getting underway. Corn moisture hasn’t moved much since the first checks, and that’s been the main thing keeping combines parked. Early corn yields sound disappointing, but the first reports on beans look very strong.
