The monsoonal season continues. I’ve lost track of how many inches we have had in the last couple weeks, but I believe we are at or nearly at our normal rainfall amount for the year. Everyone is falling behind on spraying, and some didn’t get their double-crop beans planted behind the wheat. I hate to wish rain away in July, but we are starting to show signs of water damage. I had hopes of being able to spray again by the week’s end, but another round of heavy rain tonight surely put an end to those plans. I do know of some areas not far from us who have been missing all the rain and are needing some in the worst way. Hopefully we can share some with them soon.
