This week turned wet as we received a total of 3.2 inches of rain from three different rain events. We were fortunate not to have storm damage, although there were areas not far from us that did. With the wet weather came a lot of heat and humidity which has furthered crop growth. With the exception of some ponded areas, the crop prospects are very good. This has been reflected in the markets as we’ve seen a sell off lately. Our wheat is a couple of weeks away from harvesting, but it is turning fast. I expect a decent crop there as well.
