We haven’t had any rain in the last week. We are getting dry. The corn is still looking good for now — I think it’s still got enough ground moisture to get us through another four to five days. The corn is around V5 growth stage. The stand looks great. It’s been a week with calm winds, and a lot of sprayers are on the move! We have all of our corn post-emergence sprayed and all we have left to spray is post-emergence on the soybeans in a few weeks. The soybeans are looking good, but same scenario — a little rain could really benefit both crops right now.
