We’ve been fortunate to catch spotty showers over the last week. Corn and beans both continue to finish out decently. Silage corn coming out so far has been healthier than last year with the heavy southern rust pressure we saw in 2025. Early corn is nearing or at black layer and high-moisture harvest operation are looking for 22-25% corn to get started on. The bulk of the area will likely be off to a soft start in the next week to 10 days.
