Corn and soybeans both have continued a cleaner-than-usual look as we approach the end of August. Really early corn, March 20-30, is beginning to mature out and looks to be on track with the past few years’ averages overall. Soybeans, where provided with even a little rainfall, are stacking those last ‘bankers beans’ pods on and will continue to mature out. We keep catching small rains here and there, and this crop will be a nice one.
