When the combines hit the corn this past week, with the heat it was unreal how the corn had dried down in just a few days. We were able to pick corn and not have to burn gas to get it dry. It was coming out of the field less than 15%. Yields have been close to normal most places, while a few farms were a bit better than expected. Soybeans are at least a week to 10 days away — too much green leaves on them. But with the rain this past week they should be a decent crop overall.
