It was a beautiful week around the area, with much cooler temperatures giving us a nice break from the heat. The crop season is starting to slow down as everything has been done, and most guys are now prepping equipment and waiting on fall. A lot of the corn is maturing, and the stalks are starting to dry up about a third of the way up. The beans have been busy setting pods but could use a nice rain here soon to carry them to the finish line.
