SALMON, IDAHO - To get to the arena, Sally, a novice rider on a new horse, had to pass by a truck and trailer parked right next to the in-gate. Just as she approached the truck, a dog jumped from under it and started barking. Startled, her horse spun around and took off. Everyone could hear the dog's owner screaming across the arena at the unattended dog as Sally tried to stop her frightened horse.
