“The cattle complex opened lower on the bearish cattle on feed but quickly found buying and the market rallied, falling back late in the day to close mixed. Year-over-year April cold storage beef stocks dropped 2.6%. Over the past several trading sessions, rallies have attracted selling and that is a switch from what was seen during the bull run from the late November lows of last year through late April highs last month,” The Hightower Report said.
