“October hogs opened slightly lower but quickly fell below last week’s lows and finished under pressure on spillover weakness from the cattle market. Hogs reached overbought levels late last week and this is likely a normal downside correction. Pressure was also due to the cold storage data showing U.S. pork stocks at a two-year high,” The Hightower Report said.
