I got a lot of book work done in the office last week. It was mostly cloudy, with some rain early last week, which kept the ground wet. I drilled cover crops Sunday and that will continue this week as I hope to finish it in a few days or so. Also getting cereal rye and vetch on corn stalks. Bean ground will get winter wheat with vetch mix. Cleaning up equipment before winter is a priority, and I hope we get some days warm enough to wash. Some neighbors spread dry fertilizer and sprayed anhydrous last week. I’d estimate corn harvest at 98% done in the area.
