Busy week here wrapping up planting and replanting. I was able to start back in the field on June 21 and have been running hard ever since. We finished corn replanting on Wednesday June 25 and should finish up beans today June 27. To say it’s been hot would be an understatement. However, it’s exactly what these crops needed. Stands are thin, what corn is up is uneven, but it does finally have a decent color to it. Now on to playing catch up on spraying our first planted beans and crossing our fingers everything we just replanted makes it out of the ground without getting a big rain. We have chances for the next four to five days, but this time of year with pop-up storms you never know.
