Dr. Sandson, Thomas Brittingham, William Dempster Hoard, John Nolen and Mr. Eldridge pose with an early-model automobile. John Nolen was a well-known urban planner contracted by Madison, Wisconsin, to guide the city’s physical and aesthetic development.
