Farmers are invited to submit nominations for the 2025 Farm Bureau Farm Dog of the Year contest, which comes with cash prizes and bragging rights. This is the seventh year of the contest, supported by Nestlé Purina PetCare, which celebrates farm dogs and the many ways they support farmers and ranchers.

Tough, a Border collie owned by Kansas Farm Bureau members Denny and Donna Ashcraft, is the 2023 Farm Bureau Farm Dog of the Year.
Bree, owned by the Nowobielski family, Wisconsin Farm Bureau members in the Midwest region, is one of four regional runners-up in the 2023 American Farm Bureau Federation's 'Farm Dog of the Year' contest. She will receive $1,000 in prize money, a trophy plate and Purina products.
Tough, the grand-prize winner of the 2023 Farm Bureau Farm Dog of the Year award, is 14 years old. She helps with livestock on the ranch owned by Kansas Farm Bureau members Denny and Donna Ashcraft.
